After our press release in December 2007, we were contacted by a Tucson news station asking if they could do a story on our new product. This one story by far, has been the best story done on us, and also brought us a great deal of attention.

We have since lowered the prices on our products, due to competition from Chinese manufacturers. Ours is the only American made RFID wallet shield product we know of.

MARPAT (short for MARine PATtern) is what we use for rfid digital disguise on the inside of most Armadillo Dollar card folders. The U.S. Military uses a Mar-pat design for digital disguise so they cannot be seen on cameras, we thought it befitting to replicate this pattern and use it on the inside of the Armadillo Dollar card folders. The digital pix-elated design is difficult to visually determine on digital images due to the squarish patterns, which are diminished from analog to digital conversion during image projection.

Intended to be disguised by pixels on digital cameras, the original mar-pat fabric design cannot be seen on many cameras, especially at a greater distance, and hence makes the wearer invisible, much like Armadillium-23 makes the Armadillo Dollar bearer invisible on RFID tracking instruments.

Since one of our original members was in the USMC, we chose to use a “Digital Woodland Camo” released imitation version of marpat disguise inside the American made Armadillo Dollar.
